Sharing Garden Ideas
A visit to my family in Massachusetts, bringing along lots of home grown lettuce and home made potato salad. I also replenished their backyard raised bed garden, planting lettuce, basil, cucumbers, tomatoes and zucchini. What fun it was to share gardening tricks so they will be able to have an abundant supply of veggies later this summer.

I finished planting all but the peppers, as there was some compost left over from last year and we bought some chicken “poop” for extended use fertilizer. The raised beds were home built using cedar wood, so they are holding up very well.
